ABOUT ME
I am Senator John Hawthorne for President. I am going to make an outstanding President because I go beyond the necessary criteria. In my 42 years in the United States I have opened up my own law firm and helped with constitutional rights in the court room. My personal qualities include being fair, very social, just, and very positive. I am prepared to lead this nation in the right direction by doing what is necessary. I will appoint the best foreign ambassadors and meet the foreign leaders personally to ensure peace and development. I am willing to nominate supreme court justices. I am willing to deliver justice for all.

1. If you could change one of the Constitutional requirements for Presidents which one would you change and why?

I would change the requirement having to do with being born in the United States and being President. There are plenty of people that meet the requirements and could have become President except for the fact that they were born in a different country.

2. Explain what you consider to be the most important societal requirement of a Presidential candidate.  Why is this quality so important?

The most important societal requirement is being willing to relate and listen to anyone and to be just.

3. In the lesson you read about Amendment 22.  Do you feel that the 22nd Amendment should be repealed? Give at least two solid reasons to support why you feel it should or should not be repealed.

I feel that the 22nd Amendment should be kept how it is. Two terms should be enough for anyone to make a difference. Any longer and there is no room for change and development. If one person was able to hold power for a long time and turned things for the worse, there would be no chance of evolution for the nation. The White House is meant to be a place for the current President to work, not a fortress for a king to rule the nation.
